Title: My sisters car started on fire.

Dewaldo - June 7, 2006 02:09 AM (GMT)
I guess she was driving downtown when all of a sudden someone must have came to her and told her her car was smoking.

So (this is where the story gets hazy) she gets out of the car and to my understanding goes some where, like to get help or something. When she comes back I guess she lock the doors and now the firefighters had to smash a window so that they could pop the hood and extinguish the fire.

Also, I paid $200 when she bought the car under the pretence that I could drive it sometimes when I got my license. I'm not really that mad, Sadie said she'd give me back some of the money, and just the thought of Sadie freaking out while her car is on fire makes me laugh.

Sephious - June 7, 2006 02:10 AM (GMT)
Like I said before, this story is hilarious.

Dewaldo - June 7, 2006 02:18 AM (GMT)
O yeah, the day later my sister was driving my moms car on the highway and the fucking axel broke. Some shit about the ball joint or something, shouldn't be hard to fix or too costly. This also made me laugh because I could just see my stupid sister like trying to hitchike or something.

Jenko - June 7, 2006 02:28 AM (GMT)
I lol'd

QueenieKai - June 7, 2006 02:39 AM (GMT)
Your sister doesn't have very good luck with cars, does she?

Happy Joy Jo - June 7, 2006 02:53 AM (GMT)
Bad weekend.

melie - June 7, 2006 03:20 AM (GMT)
When I was learning how to driver, the first thing I did when I got in the driver's seat at Walmart's parking lot was back into another car. I'm not a good driver, heh.

Sephious - June 7, 2006 03:38 AM (GMT)
Quite obviously.

I'm not even that bad of a driver, maybe I will get my license.

But I can't parrellel that good.

Danielle - June 7, 2006 04:31 AM (GMT)
Parrelle? I know the rules are not to correct people, but that didn't even make sense.

That is the funniest thing I ever heard, Was she perhaps drunk at the time cause that would make it better....

Nobody can parallel park properly because they don't teach you how to properly. You gain about 10% of your skill with your learner's and the other 90% throughout the first year with your actual license.

She left the car, WHEN IT WAS ON FIRE?! And managed to lock the doors before she left?!

Holy.

Plus parallel parking method seem to be largely dependant on the vehicle

I can do it properly except in dumb cars with high back that make it impossible to see much behind you. I hate stupid cars like that; it's easier to back up a minivan.

IT'S A SIGN. Seriously, don't let your sister within like 10 meters of a vehicle anymore. :^_^:

Danielle - June 7, 2006 06:05 AM (GMT)
That was extremely confusing.

Cheamo - June 7, 2006 06:12 AM (GMT)
Hmm? I thought it made sense. First part was me saying I can parallel park, but that I can't do it that well in stupid cars like my moms. Second part was me just pointing out how ridiculous it is to have two different cars break in major ways on consecutive days.

I'd also like to point out that my car smokes like most of the time, but it has never caught fire or anything. Apparently the cars not even in too bad shape.

Danielle - June 7, 2006 06:13 AM (GMT)
But you had a quote first, with you quoting your own post, but the post was in the post you were making :what:

Cheamo - June 7, 2006 06:39 AM (GMT)
Wow, I need sleep apparently. I'll go try to make sense of that now.

QueenieKai - June 7, 2006 08:38 AM (GMT)
Well, I got my first taste of driving last year. The first thing I did was nearly run into the street lamp, because I hadn't known the pedals were so light.

Sephious - June 7, 2006 04:33 PM (GMT)
Nicely done.

Cheamo - June 7, 2006 04:49 PM (GMT)
Nicely... because you said almost. I think everyone has that problem with not knowing how sensitive the pedals(sp) are. You'd think someone would think of telling beginner drivers. Although in truth the first time I drove was with my dad and somehow he didn't realize that it was my first time. Besides my initial problem of backing out of the garage a little fast I had no real problems. I was probably a better driver back then than I am now.

Juno - June 7, 2006 04:50 PM (GMT)
I can drive a tractor is that counts for anything.

melie - June 7, 2006 08:03 PM (GMT)
I Can Drive:
*Car
*Motercycle (not exactly legal, but...heh....^_^)
*Speedboat
*Moped
*Tractor
*Four Wheeler
*Snowmobile
*Jet Ski
*Johne Deer Lawn Mower
*Segway Human Transporter

Yup. I'm cool.

Danielle - June 7, 2006 09:33 PM (GMT)
Well, I can drive anything I want. Not well, but still...

Tyrano Thierem - June 7, 2006 09:39 PM (GMT)

Danielle - June 7, 2006 09:43 PM (GMT)

Hitch Hiking is legal if you're carrying 5$ on you. Well, thats what my drivers ed teacher told me.

But then again, he also told me Mennonites were easy.

I gotta pick up more hitchhikers.

Cheamo - June 8, 2006 05:28 AM (GMT)
What if you picked up a hitchiker and went way out of your way to take them to where they were going, that would be ridiculous, but for some reason I want to do it.
