Dont you want to learn any other language? I think learning another language is very helpful with the future and sometimes maybe romantic?
melie - December 20, 2007 12:05 AM (GMT)
I want to learn another languge at school yet, maybe french, mandarin, or arabic.
Hey_Ban - December 20, 2007 12:47 AM (GMT)
Hey fuck you I posted before you but it didn;t go through.
Here it is again:
I'd like to learn either German of Japanese. But Japanese isn't very likely and German is already mostly like english.
QueenieKai - December 20, 2007 12:50 AM (GMT)
Sweet! I didn't realize so many people speak another language on here.
For me, I think it'd be sweet if I could re-learn Shanghai-nese. My grandfather is from Shanghai, but I haven't seen him since about 7... so I've forgotten the language. It'd be nice to learn it again.
French would be cool too! And Italian!
Syaoransbear - December 20, 2007 12:55 AM (GMT)
I speak english and 3 semesters of japanese. I only remember random bits though. You really can't learn another language properly from school.

Give it a few years at this rate and it'll be as useful as ancient greek. Not to mention the middle east is boring.
QueenieKai - December 20, 2007 01:11 AM (GMT)
Melie, what would you need Arabic for?
Banello - December 20, 2007 05:37 PM (GMT)
She wants to play Assassin's Creed and understand what the commoners say when you punch them in the face.
melie - December 20, 2007 07:13 PM (GMT)
No, it just sounds like it'd be cool to learn. Just randomly start saying it, people won't know what you're saying.
Of course, I already do this in German. Maybe I'll just learn french because I go to europe a lot.
Jenko - December 20, 2007 08:41 PM (GMT)

Why do you think you can not do Japanese? Is it very hard for native English speakers?
Hey_Ban - December 20, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)
Well to us, the sentence structure of the language is almost backwards.
English and Japanese are just too different, unless I went to Japan for a couple years, I probably couldn't learn it.
However, I am picking up on some phrases from the animes I watch.
melie - December 20, 2007 11:45 PM (GMT)
I think he means it's hard to learn on your own?
Anyhow, opinions: do I take french or mandarin.
PixieDust - December 21, 2007 12:25 AM (GMT)
I'd like to learn italian, even though it's a bitch to sing. Once I got the hang of it, it was fun though.
