is it hard to learn drums? i dont want to spend 500$ on a set if iam gonna suck at them. if u suck, is it one of those things when u can just practice more and get better? or is it one of those "u can do it or u cant" things?

It's something you can definetly learn. ;)

With any instrument, it's going to be somewhat "do it or you can't", but you can learn. But, like, if you see yourself not getting anywhere after long periods of time, then you're not getting anywhere. Slow progress, however, is better than no progress. You can learn it, but just make sure you're getting somewhere.
And make sure you're always having fun with it.
If you get all frustrated and pissy with it, chances are you'll just give up on it. :P Take it slowly.
It's easy to if you can seperate your arms and legs and know. You also need to count more than anyone in the band and not mess up the tempo or something. You'll also need to learn dynamics because if you don't know how.. you'll be messing up with the music. Well maybe it'd sound like you're "talented" but you aren't talented unless you know what to do.
Some people get drums easy but if you're like me who can only keep one rhythm going.. don't even try the drum set. Maybe start with a snare or something. but then again you can learn, ya know. All you need is will and dedication.
