Score ticker reports that Suglobov (sp) has been placed on waviers.

IMO there is a good chance he will picked up.

You're correct on the spelling.

I could care less if he gets picked up, I don't think he will be. He isn't good and teams know that. Lou Lamerello knew that when we traded Klee for him.

I think the guy has some potential, but his contract isn't close to where he is... If he makes it down, he's done for the year, as the Leafs won't call him up and chance another team picking him up and they still have to eat half his salary...

That seemed like a decent aquisition at the time. He had a few games where he looked dangerous, but damn, the guy didn't even get 1 goal. Hopefully he doesn't get taken because the Marlies need some scoring punch, & that is what he is...an AHL player...

Figures sly Lou Lam didn't part with anything of value...

It's passed noon...I guess Suggy went unclaimed?

it take 48 hours to clear waivers.

TSN Ice Chips reports that Suglobov has cleared.

Suglobov did clear. It was at 2pm today that he cleared. He'll do really well for the Marlies, it's been an excellent trade. Devereaux for Suglobov, I think both teams will improve by that swap...

(It was a joke)

He's just fallen down the depth charts. In my opinion he's now behind Newbury and Ondrus.
