Bell has been cleared of his stage 2 substance abuse suspension and will begin serving his 15 game suspension that was placed on him by Gary Bettman. He will be able to open his season against the Senators on November 6th.

I guess the NHLPA weren't effective in reducing that 15 games? I never heard anything more about them fighting it.

Without a leader it's hard for them to do anything. The NHLPA is such a mess right now.
